Sarah is an undergraduate student majoring in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) and minoring in Community Action and Social Change (CASC). As the future project coordinator intern of Food Corps Michigan, she is hoping to work with local schools in providing resources to lunch programs and educating herself more on the subject of food disparities in effecting neighborhoods. While initially interested in cognitive, adolescent research in psychology from a curiosity of human nature and the means to improve people's lives, she has been exploring a hidden passion in bringing awareness to the inequalities affecting disadvantaged communities and pushing for sustainable change by engaging with communities directly. In her free time, Sarah enjoys graphic design, participating in kendo, and annoying her dog.
