The Ginsberg Center supports non-profits, grassroots organizations, schools and government agencies interested in engaging with the University of Michigan. Whether your organization is looking for summer interns, would like assistance in evaluating your work, has a research question to explore or just wants to learn about resources at the university, we can partner with you to develop or strengthen your connections with U-M. Our partner support includes:
University Navigation
We can provide assistance in problem-solving, identifying potential resources and answering the question “I wonder if U-M...?”.
Campus Partnerships
Our matchmaking team can help you find a course, professor, researcher, student group or program that best meets your organizational needs.
Volunteer Recruitment
We can work with you to find volunteers through our online volunteer portal Connect2Community, co-hosting an informational session or advertising in our newsletter.
University Support
Our center supports students, faculty and staff from across campus who are preparing for and engaging with community organizations. Our work with campus partners can help set the stage for positive, ethical engagement with your organization and the communities you serve.
Stewardship
Ginsberg engagement staff builds a long-term relationship with your organization beyond the scope of a specific project.
We believe our approach to community-university partnerships can support your organization’s vision, advance the University of Michigan’s mission as a public institution and move us all towards more thriving, just communities.
