Bio
Carlos Perez Tabares is a PhD candidate in Music Theory at the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre & Dance. As an Engaged Learning Graduate Consultant, he facilitates workshops to support and prepare students doing community-engaged work. Carlos is interested in finding avenues for arts and humanities scholars to engage with communities in equitable and mutually beneficial ways. In his free time, he enjoys learning languages, listening to music, and walking his pitbull puppy.
