Ginsberg Center spearheading UMICH Votes Fellows for 2024 election

August 1, 2024

After great success in the 2022 Midterm Election, the UMICH Votes Fellows will be making another appearance at Voting Hubs across the Ann Arbor campus for the 2024 Election. UMICH Votes Fellows are selected students who greet and assist any attendees at the UMMA or Duderstadt Center Voting Hubs - they mainly assist would-be voters with ensuring they have all the necessary documentation to register to vote, given the State of Michigan’s new same-day voter registration, and answer any lingering questions potential voters may still have. Voting can be a complex process and these friendly and knowledgeable students are here to help!

Ginsberg works to make sure Fellows are armed with the knowledge of both their role and election law, in order to be of greatest assistance to all who need it. UMICH Votes Fellows will play a critical role in what is shaping up to be an already exciting election season.
