Bio
Leah is a returning junior in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science (Computation Track).
This past summer she studied abroad in Copenhagen! She took a course on Nordic Mythology, and another on Artificial Neural Networks and Deep Learning. Leah has volunteered for a local organization in Maryland called the Lindaben Foundation that worked to address food insecurity in nearby counties. Throughout the summer she would do food rescues, host food distributions, pack meals for families, and coordinate events with community partners to help support families facing financial hardships.
Leah enjoys crocheting and playing the French horn! She is also a member of an on campus percussion performance group @UMGROOVE.
