Making Resources Accessible - Ginsberg Hosts Community Partners in New Space

2025 Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference Attendees

In late October, the Ginsberg Center hosted the 2025 Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference held by Better Impact. The conference was a unique event designed specifically for those working in volunteer engagement. This year’s theme was “Show Them the Money,” and was designed to empower volunteer engagement professionals to confidently showcase the tangible financial impact of their work.

While Ginsberg has been involved with this conference for the last five years, we are grateful that this year, we were able to host several community partners in our new space, including the Washtenaw Association for Volunteer Coordinators (WAVC), United Way of Southeastern Michigan, and the Volunteer Coordinators Network of Southeast Michigan.

Numerous volunteer managers from throughout Southeast Michigan came to the Center to participate in this hybrid conference, including organizations we haven’t yet formed relationships with; this event allowed us to connect with them as potential future partners.

Forming strong connections between campus and community is one of our goals and having the ability to host our community partners all in one space for the conference was an exciting experience for the Center. We’re grateful for the opportunity to make this conference, and other resources, accessible to our partners.
