Bio

Christina is an undergraduate student in Sociology and Social Work at the University of Michigan, pursuing a dual BA/MSW through the 4+1 program. As a Community Leadership Fellow with Survivors Speak, she works alongside the amazing team to support the organization’s mission and serve various communities of survivors. In her role as an Intergroup Relations Dialogue Facilitator with CommonGround, she facilitates a variety of different workshops centered around topics of social justice, identity and disrupting dominant narratives. She is passionate about advancing social justice, particularly in advocating for marginalized groups, survivors of domestic and sexual violence, the incarcerated and wrongly accused, and vulnerable populations such as children and the elderly. In her free time, Christina is enjoys spending time with her 6-year-old, reading, writing, hiking, road trips, exploring new places, and showcasing her skills as a one-person trivia team.
