Bio
Ellie is a Master of Social Work student at the U-M School of Social Work. As a Graduate Assistant for the Ginsberg Center's America Reads program, she works alongside the Program Manager and the two other America Reads Graduate Assistants to coordinate tutor transportation schedules, complete tutor observations, create program resources and curriculum material, and facilitate the training of tutors. Ellie's previous employment experience in special education has made her passionate about inclusive, accessible, and equitable education. In her free time, she likes to spend time in nature, go thrifting, complete crossword puzzles, and watch indie films.
