On April 4, the Ginsberg Center hosted its winter Student Grant Showcase which featured the work of several community-engaged student organizations. The Center awarded over $15,000 of grant funds this academic year across 21 student organization initiatives. These grants include both alternative break grants and community engagement grants supported by donor funds from Bill & Inger Ginsberg, as well as Delta Delta Delta Ann Arbor Area Alumnae Chapter which supports our grants for fraternities and sororities.

The showcase featured presentations from four grantees: The Pearl Project, Blueprints for Pangaea, Students of Color of Rackham and The Dot Org. Each group presented their project’s overview and outcomes, as well as which Ginsberg principles they applied to their work. Following the presentations, the Ginsberg Center team facilitated a networking session where all of our grantees could reflect on their project experiences and discuss what they had learned.

The Center was also thrilled to welcome special guests Bill and Inger Ginsberg to this event, whose generous support not only helps fund these grants but also our other programs and, of course, the new building!
