Ginsberg Center Announces 2016 Dewey Lecture: "Communities and Universities In Partnership"

In partnership with the Vice Provost for Global and Engaged Education James Holloway, the Ginsberg Center announces the next Dewey Lecture to take place on April 1st, 2016 at the Rackham Assembly Hall. The Dewey Lecture celebrates renowned educator and former University of Michigan faculty John Dewey's legacy of engaged, experiential, and reflective education, and commitment to education to enrich democracy.

Readers & Best wraps up with two special visits!

Readers & Best wrapped up the Fall 2015 semester last week with two special visits.  Student athletes from the University of Michigan Baseball Team read books about uniqueness to 275 elementary students at Lakewood Elementary School. And students from the College of Engineering shared The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind with three classes at Allen Elementary School.
