My name is Stephanie Ralls and I am from Belleville, Michigan. I am a second-year graduate student here at the University of Michigan studying Social Work: Social Policy and Evaluation. Currently, I am involved with the Ann Arbor YMCA and the University of Michigan School of Social Work’s Office of Global Activities. Some of my favorite activities include nature walks, taking photos, and finding new coffee shops. I am passionate about preventing and teaching others about the issues of human trafficking. This year, I am hoping to deepen my passions for community engagement and service while helping others find their understanding of Active Citizenship, service, and their ability to create change through service learning. I also hope to enhance my facilitation skills while gaining a larger perspective and understanding on the mechanisms of privilege and oppression that shape our world.
