Michaela is a 4th year undergraduate student studying Public Policy at the Ford School with a focus area in Women, Race, and the Politics of Health and minoring in Gender and Health.
As a Peer Advisor for the Ford School’s BA Program, she works with undergraduate Fordies to shape their academic journeys the way they see fit using emotional support and providing professional and academic guidance. Michaela is interested in using racial equity, reproductive justice, and community engagement to guide policy making that can be used to create healthy and liveable societies for Black communities of women, girls, and queer folks. She also enjoys reading, listening to podcasts related to Black feminisms, Facetiming friends, drinking tea, naps, and indoor cycling!
