Graduate Academic Liaison
Bio:
Marisol Fila is a PhD candidate in Romance Languages and Literatures Spanish and Portuguese. As a Graduate Academic Liaison, she facilitates workshops to support students doing community-engaged work and contributes to Ginsberg's workshop curriculum development. Both in her research and work, Marisol aims for a collaborative and horizontal production of knowledge and is interested in the ways in which technology and digital media can serve as a tool to share her research to a wider audience, but to also develop digital projects in partnership with Afro-descendant organizations across Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries. In her free time, Marisol enjoys biking and practicing yoga and meditation.
