America Reads Graduate Assistant
Bio:
Josie is a Master's student in the School for Environment and Sustainability and the School of Education. As a graduate assistant with America Reads she works to update virtual curriculum materials, provide support for tutors, and serve as liaison between schools and community partners. She is a Detroit resident and former elementary educator who is passionate about providing experiential learning opportunities in science for all students. In her free time she enjoys horseback riding, making pottery, and drinking hot chocolate at the Detroit Institute of Arts.
