As Ginsberg’s AmeriCorps VISTA, Christina is focused on strengthening the ways student organizations engage with schools and youth serving organizations through tutoring and other academic support.
She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in art education from The University of Texas at Arlington, and is currently pursuing a Masters of Education in art therapy from Wayne State University. Christina's research interests include the effects of art therapy in public schools, community, and with children with disabilities. Christina's passion for students, equitable education, and mental health have led her to seek out community involvement and impactful work.
Christina enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, fishing, and exploring. She is also an artist and athlete participating in dance, long distance running, drawing, and fused glass art.
