The Edward Ginsberg Center for Community Service and Learning

The Ginsberg Center supports leadership development by developing pathways for students to pursue leadership roles and develop leadership skills while exploring their passions through community engagement.

Examples of leadership opportunities through Ginsberg Center Lead Teams include:

  • Alternative Spring Break: both site leaders and lead team members play key roles in running the Alternative Spring Break program. If you have already participated in ASB, you can apply for one of these positions through the MCompass application gateway.
  • America Reads: site leaders are selected from experienced America Reads tutors.

The students I get to work with at the Ginsberg Center as some of the most motivated leaders I've met at this university.
