The Michigan Journal of Community Service Learning (MJCSL)

The MJCSL is a national, peer-reviewed journal focused on curriculum-based service-learning, community-based research, campus-community partnerships, and faculty engaged (public) scholarship.

Service-Learning Course Design Workbook

This 64-page workshop is packed with information and worksheets to assist faculty in designing a service-learning course, and is a frequent resource in faculty development workshops across the country.

Grants

The Ginsberg Center has funds available for individual or teams of faculty to support their service-learning courses, including courses that involve their students in community-based research projects. Small grants up to $500 are available on a rolling basis to support costs associated with involving students in the community as part of a service-learning course (e.g., transportation costs, materials needed for service projects, etc.).
