Walking Directions from the U-M Diag:
If you are standing on the diag, head east towards Ulrich's at the corner of South University and East University. Proceed down East University approximately 2 blocks until you are at Hill Street. The Edward Ginsberg Center for Community Service and Learning is on the southwest corner of Hill and East University in an old house directly across from Sam Wyly Hall. Come on in!
From Lansing:
Take 96 East to U.S. 23 South. Continue toward Ann Arbor on M-14. Get off at Downtown Ann Arbor exit. This exit puts you on Main Street. Main Street will take you through downtown. Once you have left the restaurant district and passed Detroit Edison, you will approach a light for Packard Street. Take a left on Packard and continue toward Campus. Take a left at Hill Street at the third light. Continue up Hill until you come to East University, Take a right and we are the first driveway on the right.
From Flint:
Take U.S. 23 South from Flint and follow the directions from M-14 onward.
From Downtown Detroit:
Take 94 West to 96 West to M-14 West. Get off at the Downtown Ann Arbor exit and follow the directions above.
From Metro Airport:
Take 94 west towards Chicago/Ann Arbor. Continue for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the State Street exit. Take State Street North toward campus and take a right onto Hill Street. Continue up Hill until you reach East University. Take a right, and the Center's driveway is the first driveway on the right. Enter the building from the front door entrance, a secretary is located on the second floor.
Parking is available on Hill Street and East University at parking meters. The cost is 90 cents/hour. There is a public parking structure 2 blocks from the Center with an entrance on South Forest Avenue. From the corner of Hill and East University, continue East for 2 blocks and take a left. The parking structure will be 1.5 blocks up on the right. If you have any trouble finding us at all, please call (734) 647-7402.
