Bio

Maria assists the Ginsberg Center with finances, human resources, and care of the building. She also supervises Ginsberg's student building managers.

Maria began working at the University in 1999 and started her work at Ginsberg in 2010. During her time at U of M, she has played an active role in using technology to create more efficient procedures for University processes. She has served on the planning committee for the Student Life Professional Development Conference since 2014 and has worked on various other Student Life events on campus. Maria completed her bachelor's degree in Social Psychology in Venezuela and her Master of Arts in Education of Psychology at Eastern Michigan University.

In her free time, Maria enjoys gardening and reading. Her favorite activities in Ann Arbor include attending Top of the Park, exploring downtown, walking through Gallup Park, and going to the Farmer’s Market. Maria is passionate about learning about other cultures, learning about discrimination, and creating social change in the community. She also volunteers with the League of Women Voters.
