Academic Partnerships and Services Coordinator
Bio

As the Academic Partnerships and Services Coordinator, Gaylin coordinates intake and consultation services, and manages all aspects of the Ginsberg Center’s workshop administration processes. She provides administrative and project management support for the Academic Partnerships team and for collaborative work with Ginsberg Student Engagement and University-Community Partnerships teams. In addition, she supports the planning, delivery and evaluation of programs and resources for academic partners.

 

Gaylin is a Detroit-native and a two-time alum of the University of Michigan, receiving her B.A in English and Communication Studies from the College of Literature, Science and Arts, and her M.A in Higher Education from the Marsal Family School of Education. Her goal is to make higher education an equitable space for students, staff, and faculty, thereby ensuring safe environments to foster innovation and improvements for all life going forward.

 

Gaylin enjoys singing (mezzo-soprano), listening to podcasts, cooking for her family, and mentoring college-bound students within Detroit Public Schools Community District.
