Bio
Carlina Duan is a PhD student in the Joint Program in English and Education. As a Lead Engaged Learning Graduate Consultant, Carlina not only facilitates workshops to prepare students for working effectively with communities, but also helps support our newer facilitators by providing feedback and creating community amongst them. She is committed to co-creating and supporting nurturing, empathetic and meaningful classroom experiences through community collaboration. In addition to her role at Ginsberg, Carlina is also a poet, a sister, a teacher, a cookbook collector, a fan of basketballs and Michigan gardens.
